Calendar Notes is engineered with a strict offline-first, local-only architecture. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or monetize your calendar entries, reminders, notes, device identifiers, or usage logs. All your data remains strictly on your local physical device.
01 Overview & Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the Calendar Notes mobile application (Package ID: com.notescalendar.apk) provided by Sawara Limited ("we", "our", or "us").
This policy governs how the application handles personal and sensitive user data in strict compliance with the Google Play Developer Program Policies (including the User Data Policy, Permissions Policy, and Data Safety disclosures), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), and other global data privacy regulations.

03 Local-Only Storage Architecture
Calendar Notes uses an embedded Android Room SQLite Database residing entirely within the protected application sandbox:
- Sandboxed Database: Database records are isolated by Android's internal process boundaries and cannot be accessed by other third-party applications.
- No Background Network Sync: There are no background threads, daemons, or remote synchronization servers that push your notes to the cloud.
- No User Account: You are never required to register an account, sign in, or provide personal credentials.
04 Device Permissions Disclosure
In accordance with Google Play's Permissions and APIs that Access Sensitive Information guidelines:

The app does NOT request sensitive permissions such as READ_CONTACTS, ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION, CAMERA, READ_MEDIA_IMAGES, or READ_PHONE_STATE.
05 Data Sharing & Explicit User Actions
The application does not automatically share, transfer, or distribute your data.
User-Initiated Sharing: When you explicitly tap the Share Note, Share Today's Agenda, or Export All Data action buttons, the app generates a text summary and hands it to the standard Android System Share Sheet (Intent.ACTION_SEND). You have full control over which external app or destination receives the text snippet.
06 Third-Party Services & SDKs
Calendar Notes contains zero third-party advertising SDKs, zero user tracking tools, and zero data brokerage libraries.
- No Google AdMob or programmatic ad networks.
- No Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, Mixpanel, or Flurry tracking.
- No third-party tracking cookies, web beacons, or fingerprinting technologies.
07 Data Security & Safeguards
We prioritize the confidentiality and integrity of your information:
- Operating System Sandboxing: All data is stored within private app storage directories governed by the Android Linux kernel security model.
- No Server Vulnerabilities: Because no central database or remote servers store your calendar records, your data is immune to external server-side data breaches.
- Device Security: Protection of the data on your physical device relies on your device's security measures (e.g., PIN, pattern, biometric lock).
08 Data Retention and Deletion
In accordance with Google Play's Account and Data Deletion Policy:
- User-Controlled Deletion: You can delete any individual note or reminder at any time within the application interface. Deletion is instantaneous and permanent.
- Complete Data Purge: You can permanently erase all stored application data by navigating to
Android Settings > Apps > Calendar Notes > Storage > Clear Storage / Clear Data. - Uninstalling the App: Uninstalling Calendar Notes from your device permanently removes the local SQLite database and all associated notes and reminders.
09 Children's Privacy Protection (COPPA / GDPR-K)
Our application complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and Article 8 of the GDPR:
- The app is suitable for general audiences.
- We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13 (or under the age of 16 in certain jurisdictions).
- Because no personal data is collected or transmitted to remote servers, children's privacy is preserved by default.
10 Global Privacy Rights (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, LGPD)
Depending on your location, you may have legal rights regarding your data:

- No Sale or Sharing of Personal Information: We do not sell, rent, or share personal data as defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
